Why isn’t trauma treated as a public health priority? 

This week’s solo vlog attempts to unpack and answer this conundrum by:

  1. Bringing in some of the big names: Bessel van der Kolk, Gabor Maté, and Vincent Felitti
  2. Showcasing an alarming piece of data from the Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) study (truth be told, all of the ACE study data is alarming, but I digress…)

I also try to prove a point, plus remind you and myself, that there’s some good work being done to make this (unhealed trauma) a public health priority – it just might not look the way we think it should look!
