We’re often told that in order to heal, we have to “do the work.”
(Turns out much of that “work” doesn’t actually work because most people don’t know about unresolved/untreated trauma and what it takes to heal it…but I digress.)
After 20+ years of helping people heal at this deep nervous system level, it is my belief that the true work of healing involves:
1) proper guidance,
2) a healthy dose of non-dumbed down education/learning, and
3) PRACTICE (lots and lots of practice).
That’s where my “neurosensory exercises” come in.
Past traumatic experiences and chronic, toxic stress often stunt our ability to connect to ourselves, others, and our environment.
Healing, then, is often about growing our capacity to come back into connection with these things in the present.
Neurosensory exercises are the vehicle through which we slowly and intentionally bring that connection back online.
If you’re curious to learn more about the practical side of the work I offer in my programs, classes, and other teachings, give this week’s video a watch.
