I have something very special for you today. 

And rather than listening to me teach about today’s topic (the importance of awareness-based movement when healing at the nervous system level), I want you to watch and learn from a true Jedi master—baby Liv. 

When we’re born into the world, we learn primarily through movement and exploration of the world around us. 

And many of us (for one reason or another) never had the opportunity to cultivate this exploratory relationship with our body and sensory-motor capacities.

It also highlights the foundational principles of The Feldenkrais Method. (One of three modalities of mind-body and somatic nervous system work I offer in my 12-week SmartBody SmartMind™ (SBSM) program.) 

Many of my students have referred to this Feldenkraisian learning (which is all about learning how to move with a deeper awareness of your body) as the missing link in their healing journey. 

It’s an area of focus that sets my work apart from other programs that offer ‘nervous system’ training techniques that only focus on specific parts of the brain.
