A message for those at a breaking point. I hope you take the time to read and listen…

The other day, while reviewing the video that I’m sharing with you in this post, I got to thinking about two common denominators I was hearing from my students’ successes:

  1. Hitting rock bottom (in their health: emotional, physical, mental, spiritual)
  2. A thirst for learning (why they were so unwell, plus what they can do to shift)

“Utopia and 20-year-old Irene” wants to believe that people will start healing their nervous systems before they get sick and are given a life sentence.

“Reality and almost 50-year-old Irene” knows now through decades of experience that humans have this tendency to wait until the worst possible situation arrives, and then, maybe, they might make a change.

I’ve listened to enough neurobiologists speak about this to know that there’s a predisposition, from an evolutionary standpoint, for us to just wait (and wait some more) until we begin.

So I’ve accepted what we are up against!

This message goes out to all those here who are at that breaking point, who are fed up with living a life that is so bloody tough, painful, and filled with struggle.

If this is you, then I want you to know that means you are in the PERFECT place to start healing your nervous system. Why? Because from here, the only way is up.

But remember: this ‘up’ only happens when you finally decide to ‘get up’ and start this nervous system health regime, which is exactly what I teach people how to do (and with much success I might add).

Have a listen to these students of mine who were all at their breaking point and all decided to look ‘up.’

Their names are: Hosannah, Lilly, Jean, Ian, Mary, Fliss, Patti, Valérie, Kathy, Arnie, Aimée, Sandra, Donnie, Heather, Shira, Mitch, Lee, Carola, Danette, Lauren, Medeja, Darla, Ellen, Soumini, Amanda, John, Paola, Leora, Lindsey, Tina, and Kyoko.

I hope you take just 13 minutes of your time today to listen to what they have to say:

These 31 humans, each with their own unique story, all had one more thing in common:

They knew that THEY had to put in the work.

This is not a “push play” and it just unfolds kind of healing.

One must show up, study, learn, ask questions, practice, and practice some more.

Now’s the perfect time to quote one of my favourite quotes, via the alchemists:

Ora, lege, relega, labora, et invenies.

(Pray, read, re-read, work, and you shall find).

If this is YOUR time to learn, do the work, and find yourself…

Then I strongly suggest joining SBSM this September.

Registration opens tomorrow!

*For those who may be new here, SBSM is my 12-week curriculum that teaches you how to rewire and restore regulation to your nervous system. SBSM members have year-round, lifetime access to the teaching & tools within the program, but we open registration to new members & run the full curriculum live (with training and Q&A calls plus text-based practitioner support), typically 1-2 times/year. And, at the time of publishing this blog, the next registration runs Tuesday, Sep 16 – Tuesday, Sep 23! 🙂
