Any writers here? Math nerds? Foodies who cook from scratch?

What’s one thing that all these have in common?

No matter how masterful you might be, at one point you were a newbie and started with the basics.

As most of us know, when we begin to write we start with our ABCs. For math, it’s our 123s. For cooking, it might be learning simple food combinations like mirepoix, a classic starter for a lot of soups and stews.

Today’s video is like the ‘mirepoix’ of starting a nervous system practice!

One more thing before you go…

If these basics are new to you and you’d like to begin a simple, yet powerful nervous system health practice, head over to this drop-in class replay and let me teach you some of the basics (with sprinkles of theory).

PSST Here’s a ‘cheat sheet’ for you…

These are the 5 basics of nervous system health practice (not in any order of importance) that even I and my most senior students still use daily:

  • Orienting
  • Noticing, but not changing, our breath
  • Finding our potent posture
  • Finding our biological impulses
  • Using positive resources

This latest video gives you a rundown of them all:
