When we don’t emit, express, emote, move, fight, flee – basically, act out what our autonomic nervous systems and whole body WANTS to do when under threat, or high levels of stress that’s out of our control, we store it inside of our physiology.

In my line of work, we call this a stored up survival stress procedural memory.

This week’s vlog dives into what this actually is (plus a handful of examples!). This breakdown of what a stored survival stress procedural memory is will also cover things like restless leg syndromes, chronic muscular tension, and tics (aka: Tourette’s syndrome).
