Many of my students are gearing up for the holiday season, which can be downright stressful and overwhelming.

Some are heading home to family and friends who may still be living with unhealed and unacknowledged trauma.

Others are facing the potential financial burden, stress of travel, and a heavy dose of cultural expectations for joy and merriment.

Put it all together and you have a toxic stress soup that even the most regulated among us struggle to manage.

It doesn’t have to be this way.

So today I’m sharing a new video titled, ‘nervous system health tips for the holidays.’

I’ll encourage everyone to give it a watch, especially those who have recently started this deep nervous system healing work, wondering…

“Is now a good time to present my family with everything I’ve learned about trauma, nervous system health, and why THEY’RE the problem?”

“How the heck am I going to manage my kids being around my verbally abusive parents?”

“Should I tell my cousin where her addiction likely stems from so she can start to heal?”

I’ve got some answers for you right here.

In short—stay in your lane, use the resources and tools you are learning here, and have empathy.
